Life Drawing Studies

I've attended a couple of untutored life drawing sessions and was hoping to get some feedback. I would like to develop a better understanding of the human body to be able to more confidently draw out of my head. It seems that I am spending a lot of time just copying what I see, and only a little bit actually studying the details of bones and muscles. Is this a good approach? I am guessing it's quantity over quality in my case? Is this the right level of detail per pose or should I try to spend several sessions on one drawing? (sometimes the same pose is run for several sessions).

I have the reference photos of the models but I'm reluctant to post these as I haven't asked their permission. I know the anatomy is off on the 2nd one.

P.S. I ended up doing the last one on watercolor paper which is why it's so blurry...
